Terra Vertis has recently announced its strategic partnership with the Sustainability Advisory Group (SAG), a leading international alliance of sustainability strategists and corporate responsibility. This partnership brings together an international network of highly skilled sustainability professionals and regionally based experts to offer the MENA market with relevant applicable practices promoting sustainability in all business conducts. Topics such as climate change, energy efficiency and green development are thoroughly tackled along with the importance of having an effective supply chain management and the commitment to give back to the community.
To complement its efforts, Terra Vertis organized the sustainability and corporate responsibility workshop at Colombia University Middle East Research Center (CUMREC) in Amman and hosted Ms. Maria Silanpaa, Founding Director and CEO of Sustainability Advisory Group. The interactive workshop brought together 30 attendees from the private and public sectors who participated to benefit from Ms. Silanpaa's profound experience.
On this occasion, Ms. Silanpaa, said: "Our partnership with Terra Vertis will become a strong platform engaging Jordanian stakeholders to enhance their business practices which will generate a positive outcome. (UNIDO) Organize Workshop on Sustainability &
Corporate Responsibility

With the objective of exploring recent theories on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and global sustainability as well as the development of perspectives on the relationship of CSR with current social and environmental issues, terravertis, the environmental and corporate responsibility experts, in cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) recently held a corporate social responsibility and sustainability training workshop at Wild Jordan Café - Amman.
The interactive 2-day course brought together 20 participants from different companies in various sectors including manufacturing, apparel, logistics, information technology, agriculture, risk consultancies, financial and educational institutions along with NGOs and governmental representatives with the unique opportunity to be exposed to the latest skills in this field along with the needed tools and competencies required to become qualified CSR professionals.
Dr. Muna Hindiyeh, Senior Sustainability Advisor at terravertis, commented: "CSR and environmental management are growing to become an instrumental and key operating component for most organizations. Successful leaders should be committed to deploy social and environmental responsibility programs and ensure its sustainability throughout their organizations by designing and implementing strategies that would raise the levels of employees' commitment to their environment and community."
